Woooooooo!!!!

Wait a minute. Is he quoting a line from a song? If so, was the original artist reprimanded? The worlds gone mad.

If he just quoted the song it’s not that serious. It’s not like he had bad intentions just made a mistake

Wow that’s an embarrassing statement made by ‘kick it out’ 😂. ‘Regardless of context’ is genuinely laughable to read

If he is using the ‘n’ word in a song written by somebody else, it is the rappers fault not his. Further more if Mudryk cant say this lyric I assume Ivan Toney would also be under this scrutiny, everyone should receive equal treatment.
He has nothing to apologise for, but perhaps living in a country with free speech like Ukraine hasnt prepared him for a PC one like the UK and he needs to learn quickly.

Kick It Out says it condemns the use of any racial slur regardless of context? Surely, the context is the only thing that matters?

What is wrong with these people?

as a Ukrainian, I can only confirm that the word is rather used in a “cool way”. I have always heard it in the songs by rappers, and then I was 16-17 or something I realized, it was actually a slur. Another thing is that a word that derives from Latin “negro” had been actually used until recently as a neutral term for the black people. So for me, it looks actually laughable, because if black people really get that offended by the word, then what is the point in putting it in every song?

Peace.

Sounds like a grounded kid. Good on him. Mistakes happen when you’re sincerely apologetic about it. Keep going, son!

Singing along to a song shouldn’t be deemed offensive even if he said the N-word. If he’s just singing a song there obviously isn’t any malice involved and people need to remember that

Sky makes me sick. I’ve just found out that this has not just happened and is old news. Let us all think about this very carefully 🤔Would Sky be reporting this if Mudryk had joined Arsenal?

This shows how the British media is ready to slate this boy if anything goes south during his time at Chelsea. Imagine the guy was just singing along to a rap song on tik tok and he has been labelled a racist.

Even as a black person I find it ridiculous some people can’t recite lyrics to a song they love

Last time I checked someone’s art was subjective, and if anything singing the lyrics in their unaltered form just shows respect for the music. If the person who wrote the song isn’t offended then the rest shouldn’t be either.

“Reciting a rap song” 😂😂

“Irrespective of context” CONTEXT IS LITERALLY EVERYTHING IN LANGUAGE

This is just sick!!! They are trying to use his past mistake against him just because they know he’ll turn out to be a star in the future. Such a negative world we live in! Watch out world, that boy will become a Ballon d’or winner!

So, if it was an intentional slur and he genuinely apologized I would still have had mixed feelings about it. But I understand tic-tok and that was not in anyway his fault. He is right to apologize considering that he is the face of a huge club. Nothing here, look forward to seeing more of him in the future.
