As a programmer, what he did… It was actually quite funny to watch.
Having worked in education, I can tell you they can see everything a student is doing. The school I worked at, you had an assigned laptop and they kept close tabs on what was being searched, your homework and tests. You were banned from all social media platforms and very restricted in your gaming and internet searches. If you broke protocol, your laptop was consvinscated, and you got to go back to being a tree killer. 😆
We’re not just telling stories, we’re lying to teachers.
Learned minor coding after 5th grade, stopped for a while, had computer coding class in 7th, learned to hack the programs to make them work faster than everyone else, learned more hacking skills from a classmate in 8th grade Chemistry who bypassed the school’s student account tracker, stopped hacking in 9th grade. Have been caught changing my grades twice. Not going to risk it again. Now I’ve forgotten most of the programming I learned. I don’t recommend anyone doing this. Regardless, there are people who will try to see how far they can go with their skills. I’m not a straight ‘A’ student but I work hard & fairly.
At my school they have software to see the search history and the teachers can see what you are doing bc some kids take advantage on the computers and search up things they shouldn’t be searching and they get suspended for it
The fact that the principal gave him the job to foolproof all the computers from hacking, goes to show how great he is at doing this. He’s lucky that he has found his calling. He may not have been a straight A student but he was clearly at least a great hacker. 😂

In my school, teachers have access to all the school laptops and computers. They are just to dumb to figure how to work it

I was always the one that hacked the school computers. Now, I didn’t know how to code then, and didn’t change grades or anything(I was valedictorian, by a lot, I didn’t need to), but was able to find places in the website blockers to type randomly and break stuff.
Eventually I stopped when I learned what a proxy was.
I have seen this video from Dhar Mann, must say that you shouldn’t have to change your grades to prove that you are smart and on top of everyone else, as it will come back to him of how he will need to actually prove of how he is generally smart
With this brain, he’d probably be better off making a game rather than hack. Cuz I guarantee that with his coding skills, the game he could create would be a lot more than hacking for students, AND its not illegal would you look at that.

I was literally in this situation in “Reach for the Top”, where all the schools were competing.
It was a team answer, and my gamer reflexes hit that bell, but also blurted out the answer as I did it.
The judge, instead of letting the team confer just took that as a final answer and passed it to them.
We almost beat the star team with the ‘genius’ who had all the answers, but slow reflexes. But I messed it up.
The Mormon girl on our team seemed to hate me after that. Ran in to her on a dating site years later, when she was in university.
Big step for a girl who couldn’t use computers and had to leave class for movies such as “Last of the Mohicans”.
