I still believe in the traditional model of parents doing the actual parenting than letting Social Media do this function for them. If there is a possibility of having certain aspects that are out of control, why allow children to be on social media in the first place? #Opinion

Get real – kids can access *ANYTHING* online. Its up to the kid what they want to do with being *GIVEN access* to the internet. back in the day we were not exposed like the kids are now with Phones operating as computers. *We can only pray they are raised and taught well by the parents* R.I.P little ones.

That’s like suing a car manufacturer for a death of a drunk driving person senseless and stupid right….

Tik Tik is the worst of social media platforms, I spend a few minutes on that platform my IQ drops.

This is why the children of today take no responsibility for their actions. The parents blame everyone and everything else for their children’s misbehaviour and/or criminal activities. Very sad for the families but please do not blame others. Ensure you are involved in your childs life.

Why are kids under 21 given cellphones and allowed to participate with social media. Where are the parents. Where are governments who can ban and block social media channels?

It’s ridiculous to blame this on Tik Tok, typical of human beings. Always some else’s fault.

ridiculous that a country like ours is going through a blackout in mid-2022. These rulers don’t realize the harm that this does to the country

Ya’ll are asking the wrong damn questions. The question should be: “why do people try out stupid things only to turn around and want to sue.”

Parents are are replacing themselves with social media, they are too busy with other things and they allow their kids to be on social media. Please parents don’t blame social media for your stupid parenting. Be parents to kids to let social media be your babysitter

How many parents are more interested in taking selfies and making dumb videos with their kids just for attention? Can you blame the app? Who buys the phones for their kids, the data to use apps etc? The app doesn’t promote anything – its just a platform where ordinary people seek attention for doing the dumbest things. The app itself has so many privacy issues. I personally don’t use tiktok because I believe it will make me dumb and damage my ability to focus. Let’s face it, parents these days are staring at their phones more than watching their kids.

Parents of girls: We were failures as parents raising stupid children so someone must pay, it’s not our fault.

It’s the kid’s fault! You can’t blame the platform. It’s what they do with it. They had an option and they chose it.
