I have a flat iron called wet to dry! I’ve had it for years and it works so well. I’ve never had a hair dresser tell me my hair looks damaged…they always say that it’s so healthy. It’s also not expensive. I highly recommend it!

Remington has a wet 2 straight flat iron that I used growing up. I never did dripping wet. Just damp hair with heat protection and it worked for me.

Okay. I’ve been using a wet-to-straight flat iron since I was in middle school. I’m 30 now. Granted, I don’t straighten my hair every day or even every week, but it works. IT saves me a lot of time if i’m in a crunch too because my hair is super thick.
When I was in middle school Remington had a flat iron that was a wet to dry iron. I used it for YEARS. I believe it was called Wet to Straight.
It would be interesting to see you use this on curly or kinky hair, just to see what happens.

Brad there is a Conair straightener that you add water to, my mother has kinky type hair and it is the only one that truely makes it smooth as silk. Check this out cause I love the straightener
