Sep.13 — Oracle is now emerging as the winner for TikTok’s U.S. operations. Oracle has been described as a “trusted tech partner” suggesting the deal may not be as structured as an outright sale. The news comes shortly after Microsoft confirmed its bid for the company was rejected by Bytedance Ltd. Bloomberg’s Dina Bass reports on “Bloomberg Daybreak: Asia.”
Bytedance picked oracle to maintain control over Tik Tok bc Oracle will simply provide database.
