I’m in my 30s … your pop culture coverage & analysis is truly second to none. I’d rather listen to your take on things than people my age or older. Keep doing what you’re doing ! Wishing your continued success.
I don’t know the details, and don’t care to look them up, but ppl do survive suicide attempts and gunshots to the head more often than you might think. It’s probably minuscule, but there’s a possibility he could have been saved if they acted quickly…
They hid this for a year AND at the beginning hid this from the POLICE. A 19 year old died and they tried to bury *everything* and have the audacity to portray themselves as ‘family friendly’ app. No suicide awareness message, no immediate actions taken, and no apology. Big companies have no shame.
Idk how he killed himself , but what if there was a way he could’ve been revived? Even if he couldn’t I just am appalled that they didn’t immediately call police. Like wtf. God this just makes me sick.
I’ve seen this happen on Facebook so many times…deleting it and not saying anything is normal because you kind of aren’t supposed to report suicides like that because they can cause a chain reaction. I live next to a bridge that people try to jump off pretty often but it is pretty much never reported on the news because reporting it literally causes it to happen more often. Not saying they shouldn’t have called the police, but making a statement is, mental health wise, not really what you’re supposed to do. Its a situation where they lose either way, since it’s blown up unfortunately I wouldn’t be surprised if this happens again and again
I don’t understand how they couldn’t have taken the time to call the police before they contacted their PR team? Like, a ten minute call could’ve potentially saved this kids life and avoided all this.
This case has been covered a little bit by Brazilian media, but just a little bit, it’s not enough at all. It’s disgusting how they prioritize their public image rather than someone’s life, specially since the main user demographic of the app is teenagers, but no surprise coming from an company (only the $$ matters).
I was on a stream of this little kid that was trying to commit no live because their family was fighting. No authorities were contacted and the chat was full of creeps and terrible people telling them to do it. It was so scary and disturbing. But luckily a friend of theirs was on the stream and was able to get them help before anything serious actually happened. I know no ones gonna see this but I’ve never been able to do anything or tell anyone about this is it’s been tearing me apart ever since.
disappointed but not surprised. anyway, i’m back! i’m posting every day, so what are we going to talk about tomorrow?
the company of tik tok did another oopsie. the first one was obviously buying the app
50% of my interest is in the video
50% is in that your name is D’angelo in your intro even though this is the Dangelo channel
calling it now; d’angelo is gonna stop using his main channel, and this will be the new main.

I live in Brazil and I literally had no idea about this jesus
“You may have noticed I took 2 days off”
It’s not like I checked my notifications several times for 2 days in a row to see if your content was there or anything.

its crazy to think one of the people who originally saw it didnt force it to go viral through twitter or something

tiktok took down the video of that girl who tried to raise awareness about the Uighurs being put in concentration camps in China
I literally can’t make a joke about this…
You are doing well because, in a world of so many intolerable people, you are HELLA tolerable my dude.
You do good work. Thanks.
How is tiktok gonna flag “bulliable” tik toks to “protect” their users from harassment but can’t protect users from traumatic imagery?
