Petition for click to make an hour long meme video
Therapist: “British Clicky isn’t real, he can’t hurt you.”
British Clicky: oi there, good ev’ning- *british accent intensifies*
Fun fact; deaf people could hear originally think in their native language, however if you are born deaf, you don’t technically have an inner monologue, instead they think in their local sign language.
As a German I can confirm, that you can legally drink with 14. If your Parents approve and are watching.
With 16 you can drink Beer and Wine.
Fun fact, Click; there’s a strong chance you always get randomly checked at the airport because you are super tall. My roommate is 6’7” and is always “randomly” selected. He asked why once and was told he was too tall for the scanner to properly view everything.
“your reflected photons did technically reach my retinas, but that doesn’t mean I processed your presence.” is honestly GOLD and if I ever get the chance to I’m gonna say that word for word.
thank you Click, for being a comedic GENIUS.
I actually did some research on the woman caring for wildlife back when it first went down. If I’m remembering correctly, she wasn’t taking care of them right and raising these wild animals as pets, instead of taking plans to rehab and release them. They were too habituated to humans. If the animals think humans aren’t dangerous, it can lead to them getting further injured and killed by humans (accidentally or otherwise), or the animal being noted as a nuisance and put down anyway.
Hi Click. The legend is that Greenland was named by Erik the Red as a marketing ploy to draw people to settle there, while Iceland was named that way to discourage settlers from overpopulating the small island.
The 0 in Japanese is probably so complex because the concept of 0 is relatively new and I think predates most of the language, whereas Arabic/Indian numerals are much newer, and were probably created partly based on the the concept
Fun fact about the messed up sign for the college (if I remember it right, anyway): The C was put on the bricks somewhat-intentionally! The words were on the bridge for the campus, and a renovation took place that ended where the C was. When the renovation crew asked the dean if they should fix it, he said No and told them to stick it to the wall since it would be funny.
They had another renovation since then, so it’s fixed now, but I love the sign being that way.
At first I thought it sounded ridiculous that people imagined click’s voice when reading memes. Then I remembered that I used to hear Keke Palmer’s voice when I would read books as an inner monologue. The brain is wild
I’m psychotic. Probs schizo. And I’m relearning a lot rn. Thank you click for providing a really healthy perspective this Whole time.
I genuinely took away the best from your content and just….
Thank you for being a good role model for the young and sick. Thank you for being an amazing ally and a great man.
I’m still psychotic, just a lot less pessimistic. You really genuinely help me through the worst of it. Much love. From one Swede to another. ❤😅
I greatly appreciate the arachnophobia warning! I have a lot of respect for content creators who acknowledge phobias and triggers.
Tip from someone with cats that started off wild, if Simba is scared of his carrier, try leaving it out in your home without the door. Put a soft blanket in it or a pillow that he likes, this makes him get used to it and not associate the carrier with “bad things” but with a cosy bed. You could also try harness training him, my cat Sues doesn’t need a carrier anymore. I just put him in his harnes with a leash and we go where ever we need to go, I can even have him on the bus with me.
I use the non-stop Line harness in size 0, but my cat is also very inbred and therefore tiny (he is 3 kg at 4 years old). Simba might fit in a size 2. The nonstop harnesses are made for dogs, but they are really nice, cause they are fully padded and don’t put pressure on the animal’s neck, butthey are a bit on the pricy side since it’s a Norwegian brand.
I would also recommend trying different types of carriers, such as a backpack style or a dog carrier, maybe even one made of fabric and mash, just make sure they are made for Simba’s weight.
I’ve actually asked the “what language do deaf people think in?” to my ASL teacher. His answer was essentially “Do you know that concept thought that you have in your brain before you translate it into language? That’s basically it. You think in concepts, not languages. And then you go ahead and sign that concept thought directly instead of making a long sentence like spoken languages usually do.”
He also says that he can depend on a number of factors, including if you were born deaf, or if you became deaf after learning language. But they try to teach you to thinking concepts before language when you’re signing.
Hopefully that makes sense, because it was a really interesting answer
as somebody with bad memory, poor decision-making skills, low self-esteem, and detachment from reality, that first meme hit home
Your editor deserves a raise for the discord thing. If you edit your own videos you deserve an extra demon
As a British person, I am frankly SHOCKED at Click’s attempt at a british accent. Never before has anyone so perfectly recreated how I sound! Wow, incredible! You’d fit right in Click!
I used to volunteer with a deaf-blind teenager. She was completely deaf from birth and learned to sign, then went totally blind as a young child. When she was thinking, she would physically sign “out loud.” You could literally SEE her inner monologue.
A friend of mine used the pronoun “she” to refer to literally everyone and everything.
They’d been doing this since the 80’s withou a problem just fine.
Christmas 2022 one of their relatives was FTM and you could see where this is going.
It had become such a habit they literally couldn’t turn it off and just broke down crying.
