The U$ will ban it. The empire always bans and try to contain entities it can’t compete with. If they could they would’ve banned the whole of Сhina. If it goes into the ban, I hope TikTok exits with a bang as they had nothing of evidence of a national security threat. I believe TikTok has a patent for its algorithm design that is worth billions. As the US ban export of semiconductor chip technology to China, I don’t think ByteDance would sell its patent to US tech companies unless it needs the cash to build leading-edge technology.
Best is for TikTok to exit USA and leave USA citizens to deal with their Congressmen.

Mr Chew is a Singaporean businessman and i believe he will fight hard for his user. Mr Chew had been to 3 key countries and know what these countries are. If I am not wrong, the CEO’s name is Chew Shou Zi. His surname is Chew. His name should be read as Chew Shou Zi and not Shou Zi Chew. A Chinese name Chew Shou Zi is not the same as Shou Zi Chew.
