what gets me is when she says “no one was consulted on this decision”. You as the employee wont be consulted if you are going to be fired.

She’s crying because she’s never going to make that much money, be that lazy and pampered ever again. Can u imagine being sooo unself aware? Embarrassing 😳.

She literally filmed herself doing basically nothing during the whole workday. She was by far the easiest choice to let go when they had to.

imagine thinking you’re living an adult life while eating halloween candy getting free coffee and having meetings in sparkle rooms, then going to cry at disney land. i mean wow.

I work at a fortune 100 company and this reminds me of the employees there. I’m the maintenance guy at the building. The employees show up maybe once or twice a week, any time they do they throw them a party. Basically a social club once a week with catered food and they still complain. I keep telling myself there’s no way this is sustainable. It’s a joke.

When I started at my new job 8 months ago I immediately revamped a bunch of stuff, and took on some tasks from retiring people and from people at other branches of the company who had too high of a workload. So now I have a few things I’m doing that no one else in my branch knows how to do. All in the name of making myself less replaceable.

It’s not nice to lose your job in any line of work, no matter who you are…but if her days were spent like that, the bigger shock is how did any company let it go on so long.
The other issue is if you have enough time to walk around and document your days, you’re not grafting all that hard and time management is out the window.

There should be a course in all high school for seniors on what will be expected of you and how to succeed in the work force. Just what was said in this short video is an invaluable measure for our overly coddled youth!!!

I love the part where she was upset that the people being laid off didn’t get to make a contribution in the decision. Haha.

“No one was consulted on this decision” Best line ever!! No.. The company or your boss does NOT “consult YOU on their decision to lay you off.” That is just the funniest thing ever.

I hope this is a life lesson for this young woman. I was laid off once in my 20s and it changed me completely

I used to watch her tiktoks. I was always shocked at how little she worked. I like to watch other people’s routine, specially if they work in a different area than mine. It’s no surprise that she was fired, she didn’t seem like a good employee.

I’m sure when she was documenting her tears she had several redos to get that perfect shot of her tears. That generation is used to that and they don’t understand when someone says that isn’t normal, they think it is. Sad.
I’m a register nurse want to go see a day in my life….12-13 hours of rushing, passing meds, changing dressings, cleaning up poop again, turning patients, sucking out trachs, giving pain meds, admitting a new patient, transferring a patient, putting in a catheter, putting in a NG tube, talking to doctors, talking to families, comforting a patient, holding the hand of a patient dying, and charting on every single thing you did because if you don’t, you didn’t do it. Oh P.S. hearing your floor manager or charge say…. We are short staffed again tonight. Also our food at the hospital is disgusting and they still charge us for it, the coffee use to be free for night shift then they took that away. Oh and if you don’t pick up extra shifts you will be punished at review time for not being a team player. Screw your little tech job.

was gonna make fun of her for crying but if i lost such a cushy easy job with free food and no work i’d probably cry too

I can’t even imagine the mind set that would make her think that she was actually working and deserved a paycheck.

The idea of “I lost my job. Now I’m sad. I’m going to DISNEYLAND to deal with it” is HILARIOUS TO ME 😂😂😂😂

Wow. She gets laid off and goes to Disney land? So that’s not what happens to most people. They don’t realize how privileged their workplace is compared to all of us. It would be cool to work in that environment but it should be taken as a unique moment and many memories.

Imagine the shock she’s about to feel when she does get hired, and they actually expect her to really work! She’ll be needing to go to Disney land every single day after work. 😂

The ‘day in the lift of a death row inmate’ bit was the joke I never knew I needed.

Most of the time, you just need to be in the moment. If it means feeling sad, then feel sad. Don’t film it. Don’t commodify it. Don’t turn it into online content. Be a human.

It kills me when she says, ‘I think the worst part is that no one was consulted on this decision.’ I have NEVER had a boss consult me when they’re going to do a lay off. Every time I’ve been laid off, they would tell us at the end of the day on Friday not to come back on Monday. It sucked, but I never had the idea that they should have consulted me first!

That girl was a powerhouse compared to some of the other day-in-the-life videos posted – she actually had 2 meetings.

What’s even more amazing is that it appears that it never entered her tiny and privileged mind that she does very little work and maybe it is too good to last. I bet she never had a part-time crappy job when she was younger. And it’s laughable she thought the lay-offs were not performance based after she had posted her typical ‘daily performance’ on tik-tok 🤣

I love that around 7:17 you begin a constructive criticism rant. The ending of this video is golden, and the advice lodged within it is essential. I would love to see more of your videos end on the positive that this one ends in. That way the videos are not only comedy, but also constructive. Keep up the good work! Greetings from Spain.

The thing that annoys me most is the fact that a building that should be a historical monument to one of the world’s most dedicated individuals is instead an adult daycare facility run by a mega corporation.
