I think a more interesting version of this challenge could be that the people who left don’t get the 5k, so whoever has the most people splits it among themselves. That way there is incentive for people to leave, yet you have to tread this fine line of getting people out while still having more people.

If this whole thing was just a trick to get more people to learn how to solve a rubik’s cube, it would have been pretty effective. Seeing the two who knew, passing on the knowledge in person to those who didn’t, is something I’ve never seen before.❤
