The hairtie-less bun will be crazy secure with a hair stick. I do my waist-length hair up like that (Google nautilus bun) with a hair stick and my slippery texture-less hair stays up all day.
I kinda feel attacked cause I never style my curtain bangs and I’ve had them for a couple months so they’ve grown out and at that awkward stage 😂
I definitely *don’t* need to try mixing a mini bottle of rum into a coke slushy….. yeah that’s not something *I’d* ever do 😉🙃
I used to do the no hair tie bun every single day of my life.. but this year my hair is kinda too short to wrap around and do the bun.. I miss it, it’s so convenient. And it’s very common in India..like that’s the first bun one learns, seeing their mom do it everyday
And it’s actually very secure once you get the hang of it. Not workout secure, but very secure
May we please have an Asian hair tutorial. Asian hair is stiff and sleek so it it’s hard to style. Messy buns don’t work because the ends stick out, braid waves don’t stay, and some people have trouble curling. Another issue is that volume isn’t in our vocabulary. Xoxo I hope you read this
I’m on like day 4 greaseball hair and that no-tie bun is SOLID in my hair hahaha
The no hair tie bun is called a nautilus bun! It gets more secure the longer your hair is. My hair is past waist-length and the bun can comfortably survive the whole day. Still wouldn’t recommend it for working out though 🙁
The no scrunchie hair bun is something that Sri Lankan women have been doing for centuries lol. It requires the hair to be a certain length/thinness, so if your hair is thinner or longer it works, and it’s incredibly secure, and you don’t need any pins
