US President Donald Trump said he’s considering banning China’s popular video app TikTok from the country. Reports indicate he’s also considering the option of forcing the app’s owner, Chinese firm ByteDance, to sell it. Microsoft is reportedly in talks to acquire TikTok’s US operations. US officials say TikTok could pose a national security threat, amid concerns that China could access the data it collects. Are there other reasons Trump may want to get rid of TikTok? TikTok’s general manager for its US market, Vanessa Pappas, said the company “not planning on going anywhere.”

It’s similar to a HUWEI issue. It’s also a tech and financial race to gain and maintain global power. It’s a lot more serious than an app. Gates is trying to buy it. He was denied a gov contract already. Itay be a back door in. All this has to do with the c-nyteen. The haves are fighting the have mores.
Microsoft is not going to save the app from data breach. They cant even get their OS systems to work properly. Kernel errors, prone to viruses and spyware, yeah I trust Microsoft all the way.
