Hey guys, it’s Charlotte Dobre here, and in today’s video, we’re going to talk about people who are in denial. It’s human nature to avoid facing difficult truths, but sometimes people take denial to a whole new level.
In this video, we’ll explore some of the most shocking and entertaining examples of people who are in denial. From the person who insists they’re not addicted to drugs, despite all evidence to the contrary, to the individual who refuses to accept that their partner is cheating on them, we’ll see how people can create their own alternate realities to avoid facing the truth.
We’ll also take a look at the psychology of denial, why people do it, and how it can negatively impact their lives and the lives of those around them. It’s a fascinating and complex topic, and we’ll explore it from all angles.
So, get ready to dive into the world of denial and prepare to be amazed. And as always, don’t forget to like, comment, and subscribe for more videos like this one. Thanks for watching!

Hi, I’m Charlotte Dobre. I’m an actor, reactor, singer and sometimes (not really) comedian. On this channel I do reactions, commentary and occasionally I make a joke or two. I love poking fun at social media, weddings, entitled people, tiktok and OF COURSE petty people. I upload daily, usually 7 days a week, unless life gets crazy or I get lazy. Come hang out, it’s a good time.

The woman in denial about having twins. Like she’s literally drowning in that river. I couldn’t stop laughing. But I don’t blame her. If I was having twins after giving birth just 5 months ago, I be drowning in denial too 😂
When he said “I will come at you with everything I have” I really wanted her to say “does that include your ID?”
I had twins when I was 17, that I gave up for adoption. I was so worried they wouldn’t end up together. Thankfully they did. Theyre 22 now, happy and healthy ❤❤❤
I am a twin. I had this classmate who didn’t know how pregnancy works, despite learning it in school. So one day, while our class was waiting for a teacher to come, she wondered out loud that how are twins gonna fit inside a womans body it’s tight enough for one. So me, being sarcastic 16 year old told her that “you see, I was in my moms leg and my brother was in her arm.” She really didn’t get sarcasm so she believed me. It didn’t really help her that one other classmate joined me and said to trust me because as a twin I know what I’m talking about.
Fun thing about the golf course/range. I lived on an old family farm next to one. My brother and I were the only brave souls to enter our field with aggressive llamas and donkeys so we collected the balls on our side of the fence and sold them in buckets back to people at the course. That was 20 years ago and I still have buckets of golf balls in our barn.
I’ve locked myself out of my house before and the only window I could open to get inside was 5 feet off of the ground so I left a step stool in my shed in case I ever did it again, which I did before. However, there was one time where I was attempting to grab a package in a towel since I was kind of expensive and i had just taken a shower and the delivery guy was gonna leave. So i ran down to the door and yelled “can you just leave it bc im sick and cant come out”. He did and i figured, since it was the side door i could just grab it really quickly from my side door steps but then my asshole cat closed the door when he walked by. I ran to my neighbors house, a nice old lady, and asked to borrow her phone to call my mom who had a spare key and only lived about 5 minutes away. In the meantime, i went back to sit in my car. By some miracle it was unlocked. Asked my mom to unlock my door and go and she did and i escaped back into my house. I have 2 spare keys outside my house now bc sometimes i forget to bring the one spare key back outside after using it lol
Lived on a golf course in the 90’s when I was little. My dad built walls around 3/4 of my sandbox. Golfers would come up and try to get me to bring them their balls that landed in our yard, but my parents told me to stop because we collected them. But yes, we had a few broken windows.
I hope that the new wife of that first guy without the I.D. is taking notes. If he’s that rude and arrogant to someone just asking for ID, then she’s in big trouble.
I used to work at a hotel, and you as the front desk person really do have to ask for a physical i.d so it’s not photoshopped. She’s being nice by saying she’ll cancel the reservation. My old job’s policy was that if the customer doesn’t cancel 24 hours beforehand, they have to pay for at least 1 night’s worth of the stay because they stopped someone else from booking that room. He should have had to pay for one night at least!
I have absolutely no problem with showing people my physical ID for purchases requiring said ID. I’m currently 27 and because of my baby face/Asian glow, will be ID’d for the rest of my life. I find it appalling that people out there get so irate and angry when asked for their ID. Follow the establishments’ policy and go on with your day or they can sod off. Not that bloody difficult.
I work retail and you won’t believe how many parents have taught their kids how to shoplift. It’s ridiculous
My cousin and her family had a weekend cottage on a golf course. Her youngest son was somewhat of a golf prodigy from a VERY young age. One weekend while they were staying there, my cousin hears her then-3 year old yelling. She goes out on the deck and finds him yelling at a furious golfer who just shot into the rough, “Dat not the way you do dat!” She (hideously embarrassed)removed the 3-year old to the indoors. 3 year old says, “Well, mama, he din know how to play.”
Said 3-year old is now, frighteningly, in medical school.
I actually had a boxer that was licking the dishes I was putting in the dishwasher and his collar got caught. He pulled back and the dish rack came with him, which startled him. He ran down the hallway freaked out because this dish rack was “chasing” him. I never laughed so hard in my life! ROFL
My daughter works at a bank and the amount of people who refuse to show their ID is unreal. It’s like they have no idea there are people out there just waiting to steal your money and identity.
The ultrasound of the twins – I CAN RELATE, my daughter was 5 months when I found out I was expecting twins. Needless to say.. I was just as disbelieving.. and spent the rest of the day having melt downs. They’re all grown now!
With the hotel id thing, i was in a similar situation but i stayed calm and polite and the front desk pwrson called their manager and they accepted a picture of my id because i had prepayed and was from out of the city.
Treat people with respect and its amazing how much more willing they will be to help you out of a jam
I used to work with someone who had the opposite of the mom with a five month old expecting twins. This coworker had twin girls, and then had a boy a year later. When she told me that I was like, “so you essentially had Irish triplets.” For those that don’t know the term “Irish twins,” is applied to siblings born within eleven months of each other.
The lady who found out she’s having twins was too funny!! But really, I understand why that would be so mind blowing. Going from one kid to three is a big jump, especially with them being close in age.
Can I just say, as someone who has worked in the customer service space for many years, (thank god I’m not anymore), I’m so glad that customer service people are starting to really stand up for themselves and say “no, you will not talk to me as if I am beneath you!” I finally started standing up for myself as a manager of a movie theater, and it was the best thing I ever did. I’m so glad I don’t have to deal with rude people anymore. 😊
Dude, I feel that lady’s pain. We found out we were having twins six months after having our first. We didn’t deny it quite so much, though. Lol
