This law definitely could cause problems. Not only with its actual legality, but in the fact that it seems almost completely unenforceable.

Technically it’s not possible.
Tell me politicians don’t understand technology without telling me politicians don’t understand technology.

Some solutions I’ve come up with to try and help people through the addiction of single-platform social media: teachers and parents, for the good of society and a love for all that is not toxic-tiktok-subculture.. please heed:

Teach media literacy: Help kids understand biases and attention-grabbing techniques used on TikTok.
Discuss drawbacks: Talk about mental health, privacy concerns, and the influence of viral trends.
Encourage diverse content: Explore educational videos, books, and hobbies beyond TikTok.
Promote digital well-being: Set boundaries, balance screen time, and engage in offline activities.
Be a role model: Demonstrate a healthy relationship with technology and engage in fulfilling activities outside of TikTok.

All social media needs to be taken down, but you won’t see platforms saying that because social media is a huge proponent of their audience views..

If need be, even by law, a prayer. Would someone with the authority and credit please close a study on behalf of the people, whereby the sociopolitical and real value of TikTok are assessed?

In my opinion, the loss due to separating and discontinuing a people, beset by crime and worse; their means of expression, cultural exchange, communication, political discourse live and face-to-face, any relevant measure hence the value vs. the removal are not considered! They’re simply too happy to remove TikTok. We should protest.

Less an academic and scientific study, a result in favor of ban; let our rule determine by any means to closure the legislator and supporters’ motive at proposing such an blatant seizure!

As for the military or state security value, which is truly more a threat? After all, the people have heart and soul by TikTok, and unsubstantiated threat combined with skirmish from afar per Chinese opposition.

I really wish this state would instead get it’s diplomatic means together and stop it with the folly. An example: While the Taiwan dispute blames China, Taiwanese rendering on Chinese shores are ignored an grounds for said action by China!

As for Blame China Covid, I was at the festival where it’s grass-roots foment told Darrington and global observation they were collating and fomenting the common cold in lieu of pandemic by admitting doctor’s office confirmed cases of coronavirus not flu stricken by over 102° F fever; that these attend ‘slap parties’ and share the infectious and expelled offal in their very hands with collate uplines, who would carry the compounding colonies to the next meet, winding up on an island west of Washington State, there to continue the foment until they literally ‘pushed’ coronavirus instead of flu.

This was over 10 years ago, and we still blame China despite the West Coast media releases per the first delivery.

So why is the esteemed Governor of Montana doing a DeSantis? This is some crazy here. Imagine you drive across Montana with your cell phone from Wyoming that has TikTok. You’re going to jail boy! Methinks Montanans will come to their senses when the state pocketbook gets hit defending against lawsuits due to this ludicrous proposition. BTW, how do you get past 230(c) to enforce such against any interactive computer service provider, hmm?
