Nurse Worried She Might Have To Care For Patients If TikTok Is Banned

tiktok!!

RN Claire Bishop is on a mission. She’s sworn an oath to protect TikTok from being banned so that she may continue posting lit dancing videos shot during her hospital shifts. Without nurse dance videos on TikTok, how will the patients know how much the nurses really care?

Not kidding…I’ve heard of nurses doing a tick tock in a patient’s room, instead of taking care of them. It’s facts. Looking forward to nurses actually doing their job!

Fun fact, China doesn’t allow tik tok…they have something similar but it’s only educational not full of stupid shi*.

Ah yes, the proliferation of dancing nurses was when we realized just how serious the Plandemic really was.

I was a nurse for 13 years before I left the profession. That was back when we actually took care of patient’s and nobody called us heroes for making lame dance videos and simply going to work during a “Pandemic”. I’m glad I don’t have to deal with that anymore.

You forgot the part where she has to remind everyone that she’s a great person because she’s a nurse.
Signed, son of a retired nurse who STILL tells the cops that she’s a nurse and saved more lives than them when she’s pulled over for speeding

As an RN for 20+ years ,I was never so ashamed, embarrassed and mortified by the immature, unprofessional actions of “tiktok” nurses ! I quit my job because I wouldn’t take the poke. and I would NEVER Go back because of the lack of professionalism and standards

As a recently retired health care professional, I love this clip. It’s true, many of the young nurses are there only for the money and not because they want to help and care for people, its horrible. Of course this is not true regarding all new and young nurses, but at least half I would guess. I was disgusted to see all of these clips of nurses dancing and posting it on social media while they were supposed to be working.

My wife is a retired nurse. I cannot imagine her ever putting self glorification before her patients. Hospitals should ban using personal electronics in the workplace.

I am a nurse. BabylonBee hits the nail on head as always. Super sad the narcissism seen in our profession. It is a serious commentary. We have nursing shortage crisis along with many others. I pray for my colleagues and patients all the time. May God help us!

It was always confusing how some nurses would claim they are overworked but somehow had the time to make dozens of TikTok’s a day. Btw there are tons of amazing awesome nurses out there. My sister in law is one. But heros typically don’t seek publicity. The best nurses you may never see because they are busy kicking ass.

Up next, teachers who are concerned that they might actually have to teach English, maths, science and history.

The non-profession of nursing had this coming. I was a nurse for 31 years. I was horrified at the tictoc mess. Nurses my age tried for years to have nursing recognized as a profession. In the 90’s, the new nurses came out of schools beng ‘taught to the boards’, they had nearly no knowledge of pathophys, disease and disorders, basic patient care. When you go in a hospital today, you are taking your life in your hands.

I’ve been in and out of hospitals with my father for most of this year and I can confirm that this is a REAL problem. It seems like a lot of them actively avoid patients. However, a genuine good one comes along occasionally that really makes you appreciate the job they do. Thanks to all nurses, even the ones playing on their phones. Now put the phone down and go be awesome to someone.

As a teenage boy trying hard to fit in and make friends, I absolutely refuse to join TikTok.

I’m Chinese, male, and an RN. I remember how proud it felt to graduate BSN , and then to pass the NCLEX. I felt privileged and it was an honor to be the part of healthcare which advocates for those who cannot. I could make a difference here. It was about the patients, and I strived to uphold the professionalism I viewed nursing had…

I’ve never used tik tok, and been doing primarily home health for the last few years where it’s still really one on one patient care. The pay is waaaay less than my colleagues, but it seems it may have shielded me in some sense to the foolishness of these TikTok nurses. I’m in disbelief any unit manager or supervisor worth their degree to even let this slide.
16 years later now videos like this are truly disheartening what has happened to this profession i still hold in high regard.

**on the subject of the bill- looks like Patriot Act 2.0 under disguise.
