When you’re on a foreign land, learn to behave like them. If they’re idiots for following certain rules, then be an idiot like them. Otherwise, you will face serious consequences. “Do as the Romans do,” goes the age-old adage.

A Big Respect to this Country! Meanwhile, our Liberated country here (Philippines) jeopardize the classic Traditional Filipino Values.

I hope we all learn from this
UAE malaki respeto sa tradisyon at relihiyon at batas nila
Kaya sana maging maingat at malawak tayo umunawa .. kaya nilang pagsabayin ang new era of technology at old traditions nila na akala natin open na sila
These countries are blessed because of their love and respect

All regrets are too late for these 5 individuals. They know what culture is the country they are in, but did not respect it, so that’s the consequences they need to face for disrespecting the country’s culture and traditions.

For light cases I think the penalty is about 3 mo’s then followed by deportation once they will be cleared. Just a kind reminders for our dear countrymen who are living/working abroad ” we should always be observant/respect/abide the laws and culture of our host country, UAE has a good tolerance to any ethnicity BUT if anyone go beyond the limitations then of course they will apply the available laws of the Land that they have.

Learn from the mistakes. Respect your host country and be mindful of your decorum . You represent not only yourself but the whole Philippines. Better for you to get deported rather than the death penalty. I bet none of you will be posting now.

I’m also here in UAE and talaga nman nakakainis ang ibang mga kababayan dito. Yang lugar qng nsaan cla mahigpit tlga jan.

remember UAE is a country that violates human rights and performs arbitrary detention even for trivial things. Shiek Maktoum has even detained his daughter latifa. Numerous cases of modern slavery have been committed in the UAE. His horses has better living conditions than the laborers living in squalid labor camps.

Respect is very important and to observe the culture of one’s country. Especially these days of Ramadan. Think before you act and post and be responsible.

Peace be with us and God loves us all.
