Adam way too cool to pay attention to Tom or show him respect. A true Alpha. Someone to idolize. A model male for all the beta’s out there. I just can’t get over what a cool guy he is

You should probably also cover the Toktok ban bill’s details. 20 years in prison and $1 million in fines for using a VPN, sweeping powers for the administrative state to declare anyone an “enemy of the state” in secret, and freedom of information act exceptions. The whole thing of going after Tiktok is just a smokescreen for a trojan horse bill.

He was warned twice that he was lying to the office and courts, and that it was a criminal offense to lie to the courts… more than once!

I’m still at awe at a alot of people that seriously thinks that the CCP has access to ORACLE DATABASES located in Texas. TO Network Security professionals out there, please explain. How Oracle, a government data contractor, would be compromised by the CCP. Your data — would go right first to Hawaii, before it goes everywhere else. People who worked in Asia region knows you can’t just go in and out of the Chinese servers.

The question about TikTok accessing wifi makes zero sense. He probably didnt even know what he was asking for. I guess he was thinking about TikTok app nmapping your wifi or sth ? But it literally made no sense.

Can we all just take a pause and note. His first response was “only of the user turns on the WiFi.”

Can you guys discuss the “RESTRICT Act” and how this will affect our freedoms. Our government is exploiting this situation like they do with everything else.

They work for the very private companies they are supposed to be regulating so that they can give them loopholes. Just look at banking regulations when they said they were financially sound a few months ago. He gave a shout-out to his friend who now works for a Bank of America.

As an English dude who lived in China for 4 years, albeit almost 10 years ago (damn, time flies), the Chinese understand the ‘game’. They wouldn’t even give a single eye-blink about stuff being banned from China in America, I can tell you now, the problem is Americans! Call it shame, indoctrination, lack of IQ, media influence or plain old stupidity, you will be the masters of your own downfall. I add, I also lived in the US and absolutely loved it, the people were incredible! However, the world doesn’t tolerate idiocy, which seems to be quite prevalent over there currently.

“He didnt want to answer that question.” Well, no, because it would have made him and the company look bad. The key is what he did say- that they don’t break industry norms. Everyone in the industry can control things on your home network if they want to. Wonder who i should be worried about. Hmm

The congressmen had no idea about what they’re talking about, and the CTO was doing his darned best to accurately answer their questions and not fall for the incredibly leading nature of their questions. “Does tiktok access your home wifi” of course it does. If you know tech you’d say “yes”, if you know politics you’d say “yes, but not what you’re clearly insinuating”.

Don’t forget that this bill is so much more than banning a crappy phone app.
