They don’t want politically critical issues to be debated on an open platform. But then you would have to ban all social media platforms, but this would also ban freedom of expression and that is against the constitution.

Short videos have greatly changed the shape of the Internet and improved the user experience of the Internet, but this thing also keeps people glued to their phones.

US representatives questioning Chew were so ill-informed and had no idea what they were talking about. Do any of them even HAVE a social media account they can successfully navigate better than their grandchildren 😂

So to this lady, facts doesn’t matter, only her opinion does. Even though the CEO said there isn’t any evidence, neither could she provide any evidence about the sharing of data with Chinese Gov, she continues to be on this war path questioning him about the data lol. 😂😂😂

“I find that preposterous… because I’m too old to go to internet and only believe in my guts and not in evidence” 😂

The CEO of TikTok carried himself very well during the questioning. Most of the questions by the Congress members reflected their prejudices, biased views and shallow intellectual understanding.

You could see that these bunch of clowns are already prejudiced from their line of questions. Whatever happened to Innocent until proven Guilty?!

Let the Man being questioned ANSWER them!

These American politicians who were supposed to defend their so-called good values such as liberty and human rights behave so arrogantly and their questions show their ignorance. I’m really upset that people like these are representing this country. Meanwhile the “villain” Mr. Chew was calm, polite and well educated.

The questioning from the member of COngress is so clumsy and convoluted, he could have responded in any way and it would not matter. I really wish members of Congress would do the prep work needed to inform themselves of the critical issues and concepts if they want to be part of the committee that investigates TikTok
