For the water/slush trick, I left the bottle in my freezer for about 45-50 minutes undisturbed. Just be careful taking it out or water will slush up in the bottle.

For the little ice tower u don’t need to have a water and salt paper towel, u just need a closed water bottle, put it in the freezer from 2-4 hours and then pour it on some ice then, voila, congratulations, a little ice tower. =)
