Why is the female host claiming 150 million users as big? When India banned Tiktok in 2020, India was the largest market for Tiktok with 200 million users. Americans today are quite fortunate as they have alternate platforms in Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts and Snap already available whereas in 2020 Indians had to wait for these alternate platforms to rise up. Also Indias permanent ban on Tiktok happened in 2021 as Indian govt gave Tiktok time to address security concerns raised by India, which weren’t satisfactory finally resulting in permanent ban.
