It’s the new face filter raising eyebrows on TikTok. The face filter called ‘bold glamour’ turns anyone into a supermodel. Women across the country are giving it a try and even celebrities like Katherine Heigl can’t believe their eyes. Facial plastic surgeon Dr. Monica Kieu tried it out for herself. For her, it made her eyebrows thicker, lifted both sides of her face and it made her lashes longer.

Be careful with these filters. There aren’t any concrete studies but I’m sure this will lead to young girls and teenagers feeling inadequate.

My mother uses this filter a lot for fun, but she’s also a cosmetic pro for East-Asian women as well. She’s been able to mimic the app’s filter with using only make up to enhance her natural face, and she’s really good at it when she tricks people if the filter is on or off.
I heard this on a news channel before my doctor appointment on Tuesday. It’s sad that TikTok goes this far for such things
This is a perfect example of how social media is destroying everyone’s self esteem. Especially for women.
The filter is amazing and very detailed, must have taken the person who created it a very long time. But then again I feel like it is only going to make this generation more insecure about the way they look.
